Setting the steam volume (fig. A)
Turn the steam volume dial (9) 
counterclockwise to increase the steam
volume.
Turn the steam volume dial (9) clockwise to 
decrease the steam volume.
”Water reservoir empty” indicator
(fig. A & B)
If the water level in the water reservoir (14) is
too low, the ”water reservoir empty” indicator
(12) will come on to indicate that the water
reservoir must be refilled.
Note: The steam generator is protected with a
safety valve. The cover can only be removed
from the water reservoir when the pressure is
below 1 bar.
Switch off the steam generator (4) using 
the on/off switch (5).
Switch off the iron (1) using the on/off 
switch (2).
Remove the mains plug from the wall 
socket.
Allow the appliance to cool down completely.
If necessary, press the steam shot button 
(10) to decrease the pressure in the water
reservoir more rapidly.
If the pressure has lowered sufficiently, 
loosen the cover (19) from the water
reservoir (14).
Fill the water reservoir (14) with the 
indicated amount of water. Refer to the
section ”Filling the water reservoir”.
Tighten the cover (19) to the water 
reservoir (14).
Hints for use
Dry ironing
Fill the water reservoir (14) with water.
Place the iron (1) with the soleplate (16) 
onto the iron holder (17).
Insert the mains plug into the wall socket.
Switch on the iron (1) using the on/off 
switch (2).
Set the temperature using the temperature 
control dial (7). The iron starts heating.
The temperature indicator (8) remains on
during the process.
Steam generator
To switch on the steam generator (4), set 
the on/off switch (5) to the ’I’ position.
The on/off indicator (6) comes on. The
steam generator starts to heat the water.
To switch off the steam generator (4), set 
the on/off switch (5) to the ’O’ position.
The on/off indicator (6) goes off.
Setting the temperature

The temperature must be set according to the
type of fabric.
Warning! Always turn the temperature control
dial to the ’minposition before inserting the
mains plug into the wall socket or removing
the mains plug from the wall socket.
Turn the temperature control dial (7) 
clockwise to increase the temperature.
The temperature indicator (8) remains on
during the process. The temperature
indicator (8) goes off when the soleplate
(16) has reached the required temperature.
Turn the temperature control dial (7) 
counterclockwise to decrease the
temperature. The temperature indicator (8)
remains on during the process.
The temperature indicator (8) goes off
when the soleplate (16) has reached the
required temperature.
