- The tea or the water can be boiled again
by pressing the start/stop button (10). The
tea or the water must not be cooled down
more than 5 °C below the set temperature.
Do not use the keep-warm function after
more than 20 minutes after the boiling time.
Cleaning and maintenance
Warning!
- Before cleaning or maintenance, remove
the mains plug from the wall socket and
wait until the appliance has cooled down.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or
any other liquids.
Caution!
- Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning
agents to clean the appliance.
- Do not use sharp objects to clean the
appliance.
- Do not clean the appliance in the
dishwasher. It is not recommended to wash
the removable parts of the appliance or the
accessories in a dishwasher.
- Always clean the base with a soft dry cloth.
Remove the large filter (3) by turning it 
counterclockwise.
Clean the large filter (3) and the small filter 
(2):
- Disassemble the large filter (3) and the
small filter (2).
- Clean the large filter (3) and the small
filter (2) in soapy water.
- Thoroughly rinse the large filter (3) and
the small filter (2).
Clean the water boiler (4):
- Thoroughly rinse the inside of the water
boiler (4).
- Clean the outside of the water boiler (4)
using a damp cloth.
Place the small filter (2) into the large filter 
(3). Turn the lid (1) clockwise or
counterclockwise to lock the small filter (2).
Place the large filter (3) into the water 
boiler (4).
Place the water boiler (4) onto the base (5).
Press the start/stop button (10) again. The 
start/stop indicator lights white. The
appliance starts to heat the water. If the
process is completed, the start/stop
indicator flashes red.
Turn the lid (1) clockwise as far as possible 
until the arrow on the lid (1) aligns with the
steam marking on the large filter (3). The
filter with the tea leaves moves down and
makes the tea.
Boiling water (fig. A)
Place the appliance on a stable and flat 
surface.
Fill the water boiler (4) with water.
Place the lid (11) onto the water boiler (4).
Place the water boiler (4) onto the base (5).
Insert the mains plug into the wall socket.
Press the start/stop button (10). The start/
stop indicator flashes red. The boiling
indicator (8) comes on.
If necessary, set the temperature using the 
temperature button (6). The temperature
indicators (7) show the temperature level:
LOW (low), MED (medium), HIGH (high)
and BOIL (boil). Refer to the tables above.
Press the start/stop button (10) again. 
The start/stop indicator lights white. The
appliance starts to heat the water. If the
process is completed, the start/stop
indicator flashes red.
Keep-warm function (fig. A)
The tea or the water can be kept warm for
60 minutes at a temperature of approximately
75 °C.
Press the keep-warm button (9) to activate 
the keep-warm function. The keep-warm
indicator comes on.
Press the keep-warm button (9) again to 
deactivate the keep-warm function at any
time. The keep-warm indicator goes off.
Note:
- The keep-warm function switches off
automatically after 60 minutes or when the
water boiler (4) is removed from the base
(5). If the water boiler (4) is placed on the
base (5), press the keep-warm button (9)
again to activate the keep-warm function.
